FASCRS Seal Systems

FASCRS Seal Systems

Fabric-Applied Sustainable Cool Roof Systems (FASCRS):

The monolithic design of FASCRS Seal - roof systems offers superior Cooling & Waterproofing as compared to traditional roofing systems that require accessories to produce a watertight and complete roof.

FASCRS Seal have the ability to reduce the temperature of the roof surface, surrounding ambient air, and the building's interior temperature; they improve the building's overall energy efficiency by reducing power consumption.

FASCRS Seal has specifically excellent application on flat, slant & corrugated roofs with concrete cement substrate & industrial sheds of GI Sheets, metal sheets, Asbestos sheets.

Energy Saving Cool Roof Systems for Any New or Existing Roof has following benefits and advantages as follows:

BENEFITS:
· Economical
· Energy efficient
· Eco-friendly
· Low maintenance costs
· Versatile & maintains Aesthetics
· Advantages of Fluid applied sustainable cool roof system:
· These systems are sustainable
· Reduce under deck surface temperature by up to 20 0 C in metal roofs
· They are 100% waterproof
· They have no wear and tear
· They have long periodicity
· They are of high quality
· They can be applied with ease.

Fabric Applied Sustainable roofing system is one of the highest quality Cool roofing systems available when waterproofing is also required. It is made of the best raw materials to form a flexible, U.V. resistant elastomeric compound and is fully reinforced with a tough non-woven polyester fabric, which has been designed for roofing and flashing applications of all types.
It is easy to apply, safe to work with and requires no special equipment. When the system is properly installed, by a certified applicator, a 5 year warranty is available for specific roofing applications. The warranty can then be extended every 5 years under a proper maintenance schedule.

It has the unique property of being an elastomeric membrane type coating able to uniformly cover the profile of textured substrates. It has excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry, primed metal and primed wood.

Application Procedure for Cooling & Water Proofing using FASCRS:
Scope of installation

1. Clean the surface of roof using Wire brush/ Nylon Brush/Scrapper & Water. (Surface has to be free from loose dust, oil, grease, bitumen & algae.)
2. Wash the surface thoroughly with water using jet cleaner / pressure pumps.
3. Keep the surface slightly damp before application.
4. Seal & Block each joints with Silicone Sealant & FASCRS Seal.
5. For best results & finish apply a coat of SEAL COAT all over the substrate (as parts) - On
Complete roof as primer layer.
6. Lay uniform layer of FASCRS Seal (For method please see below) all over the roof
7. No air bubble should be left while installation of FASCRS Seal.
8. Soon after FASCRS installation, a coating of grey Seal coat is applied.
9. After interval of 6 hrs apply 2 coats of COOGUARD.
10. After 4 6 hrs gaps apply 2 coats of COOL TOP
11. At last apply one coat of TRANSEAL
12. For full curing let the coating dry for 12 hrs.
13. This FASCRS Seal treatment makes the roof surface, water proof, insulated & IR Reflective, reducing the indoor temperature.

Preparation & Installation of FASCRS Seal Sheets

· Take Sealcoat with 10% water dilution.
· Use enough seal coat to fully wet fabric and laminate it to the roof. Some roofs may require more coating than minimum specifications.
· No part of the fabric should be left dry.
· While installing fabric, work only an area that will remain wet with coating long enough to embed fabric.
· Lay the same fabric layer on substrate immediately after wetting.
· When installing fabric, remove air pockets or wrinkles from fabric before proceeding.
· The surface installed with FASCRS should also be made uniform and air bubble removed by using brush stroke on the sheets.
· All fabric must be fully adhered to the substrate; never allow fabric to be unattached from the surface.
· Overlap all coating seams a minimum of 3-inches on lap seams; roll ends 6-inches; and
2-inches on repair seams.
· Make all lap seams face downward by working up from the bottom of the roof.
· Add one or more additional fabric ply where greater strength or water resistance is needed.
· Allow adequate drying time for the completed fabric to laminate before top coating.

IMP Precaution
No air bubble should be left while installation of FASCRS Seal.

Features of Application Technique
